Hampton FC Reds Under 10 team again had a very successful season last year again winning their league without losing a game all season, the boys have been busy over the summer competing in some of the local football tournaments which again have proved to be successful for the boys winning the Yaxley Tournament and The Alconbury tournament.
The team a looking for a couple more players who are currently in year 5 at school. Anybody interested can either come down to one of our training sessions at HCSA, Beaumont Way, Hampton Hargate on a Wednesday evening from 6.30 untill 7.30 or contact the team by emailing hamptonreds@googlemail.com or by telephoning 07980 313689. |

POSH shirts up for grabs!! City based ASBAH - The Association for Spina Bifida and Hydrocephalus - have an entire set of Peterborough United shirts, as worn by the players, up for grabs. Prices are £25 a piece and are a must for any hard core POSH fan! The shirts are green and were the club’s second away kit, see picture.
The shirts, worn by the players throughout the 2009/2010 season, boast the logo of ASBAH, whose headquarters are in Peterborough, on the front of the shirt and the name of each respective player on the back – one shirt even has some dirt still on it! Great Haddon - Two outline planning applications have been submitted to Peterborough City Council for Great Haddon, a proposed urban extension in the south of Peterborough located between the A1(M) and Hampton. The applications have been submitted by David Lock Associates on behalf of the Great Haddon Consortium (O&H Properties, Marlborough Oasis Ltd and David Wilson Homes). They propose up to 5,350 new homes, 65 hectares of employment land, a district and two neighbourhood centres (with a mix of retail, commercial, community and health facilities), three primary schools and one secondary, five Gypsy and Traveller pitches, open space, highways, plus utility and drainage infrastructure. If you would like to learn more about the proposals or find out more about the planning process then planning officers from Peterborough City Council will be on hand to answer your questions on Tuesday 12 January 2010 at Serpentine Green Shopping Centre Hampton between 1.30pm and 5.30pm and 6.30pm and 8pm. Public consultation on the applications will run until 20 January 2010.
